Six years of shipping - from a production trading-analytics SaaS and agentic-AI platforms,
to missile guidance & navigation software proven against 600+ requirements.
I'm strongest when ownership is broad, the problem is messy, and the output has to actually work.

Founder & Lead Developer Aug 2025 - Present · Los Angeles, CA
Building an agentic-AI platform that automates middle-management workflows - status collection, risk detection, and weekly executive reporting - across Slack/Teams, Asana, and Calendar.
Designed the orchestration layer in TypeScript/Node: tool-call routing, enforced structured outputs, and scheduled workflows with idempotency, retries/backoff, and logging/metrics.
Implemented secure OAuth2 integrations (Asana, Google Calendar, Microsoft Graph/Outlook) with token storage & refresh, scope management, and a multi-tenant connector architecture.
Shipped MVP features for automated task/meeting creation and escalation rules; deployed via Docker with CI/CD to cloud infrastructure.
Founder & Lead Developer Apr 2020 - Jul 2025 · Los Angeles, CA
Five years of founder-level ownership - from an Excel proof-of-concept to a production SaaS with paying users and a near-six-figure acquisition offer. Everything from architecture and code to pricing, marketing, and support.
Engineering the Product
Took TradeFuse from alpha → beta → production: an automated trading journal & analytics platform with dashboards, trade tables, portfolio analytics, and broker-import workflows - born from an Excel VBA journal I'd built for my own trading.
Designed the end-to-end React/Node/AWS architecture - Lambda, API Gateway, S3/CloudFront, DynamoDB/RDS - with encrypted user data and clean client/server boundaries.
Implemented Auth0 SSO and the complete authentication/onboarding flow, REST APIs, and Docker/Heroku deployments with hands-on production support.
QuantumQuery - AI Inside the Product
Built QuantumQuery, an AI analytics engine: natural-language trading questions translated into charts, metrics, and insights - OpenAI prompt engineering tied to each user's real trading data, not a demo gimmick.
Turned vague user intent into structured application behavior: chart generation, metric summarization, and comparison workflows driven by plain English.
Running the Business
Owned the commercial side end to end: subscription pricing and Stripe billing, launch campaigns and promotions, user onboarding and support, and a feature roadmap driven by real user feedback.
Carried the product through go-to-market as a founder - UX design, branding, marketing assets, and customer conversations, not just the codebase.
The traction showed: TradeFuse drew acquisition interest, with a company tabling a near-six-figure offer to buy us out.
TradeFuse has since been retired - screenshots from the production app, plus a QuantumQuery demo (shown at 2× speed).
Systems Engineer II → Chief Engineer → Integration & Test Lead Feb 2020 - Jun 2025 · El Segundo, CA
Five years across the full arc of defense systems engineering - model-based design, flight test, production leadership, and finally leading integration & test for guidance/navigation software. Heavy focus: integration & test; secondary: software, hardware, and documentation.
Systems Engineer II - MBSE & Flight Test Feb 2020 - Aug 2022
Practiced Model-Based Systems Engineering and helped special projects build microlearning modules on MBSE best practices, adopted for subsequent company-wide employee training.
Flight-test campaign in Alaska evaluating receiver/GPS systems (including EGSS): flew on multiple test flights pulling up to 2G, characterizing receiver performance under G-loading and varied GPS-jamming levels.
Wrote MATLAB software to capture and process flight-test results for the GPS/receiver evaluation campaign; also designed internal SharePoint sites.
Briefly supported a handheld receiver product line, presenting our in-house handheld unit to potential customers.
Chief Engineer - Production Program Aug 2022 - Aug 2023
Stepped in as Chief Engineer for a production system that had lost its chief engineer, and carried it through production.
Owned alignment between product, design, production, and customer needs - heavy documentation ownership and drawing/schematic updates, all closed out.
Led guidance & navigation system upgrade work for the SM-3 missile, incorporating new business-collaboration software and a hardware upgrade.
Absorbed acceptance-testing practices that carried directly into the final program below.
Integration & Test Lead - Guidance & Navigation Software Dec 2023 - Jun 2025
Directed integration & test for advanced guidance/navigation software installed on receiver systems used aboard customers' airborne platforms - contributing code, and owning installation via flash or permanent burn onto the receiver cards themselves.
Rigorously verified the software against 600+ customer requirements with end-to-end traceability from high-level specification down to low-level code.
Authored test procedures, reported findings to both management and customers, and kept campaigns running smoothly through automation, custom software, and tight coordination.
The program became the company's gold standard for integration & test execution - with an exceptionally pleased customer.
Designed and built multiple end-to-end automated trading systems, the latest being KAIROS: a machine-learning crypto trading engine running live on decentralized perpetuals exchanges.
Trains gradient-boosted price-direction models with walk-forward validation, confidence gating, and torture-testing against fees, slippage, and funding drag before anything touches real capital.
Full production stack: live execution engine with order-fill detection and fail-safes, desktop GUI, encrypted credential storage, and a packaged auto-updating Windows product.
An AI middle-manager: collects status, detects risk, and writes the weekly executive report by itself - orchestrating Slack/Teams, Asana, and calendars through a structured tool-calling layer. Founder-built, from architecture to go-to-market.
Automated trading journal taken from first commit to paying production users - broker imports, portfolio analytics, and QuantumQuery, an AI layer that turns plain-English questions into charts and insights. Drew a near-six-figure acquisition offer.
Co-authored “Speed-of-Light Exit Velocity Propulsion Method” with research partner Nathanael Snow - MATLAB and Python models validating the working end of a gamma-ray thruster, presented at an AIAA conference in 2017. Spacecraft propulsion at the edge of what physics allows.

Solar System Simulator
MATLAB · Orbital Mechanics
An N-body simulation of the Solar System in MATLAB producing an accurately progressing orbital plot - accounting for gravitational perturbations between bodies, not just idealized two-body ellipses.
A comprehensive macro-driven trading journal with a friendly UI, built entirely in Excel VBA - the proof-of-concept that eventually grew into TradeFuse. Grab the actual workbook and try it.
